Building cooling strategy for high-heat processes

Fresh Air Cooling

Does your process create heat?  Heat that makes the inside of your building significantly hotter than the temperatures outside?  Rotational molders, injection molders, plastic and rubber extruders all face this dilemma.  If it’s 90 degrees outside, often these manufacturer’s have temperatures inside exceeding 110 degrees!  These conditions are difficult to work in and sometimes dangerous.  We have found customers who have had to shut down shifts during the day just to keep their workers safe.  This is not a good situation for the business or the workers who want to earn a paycheck.

What if you brought the outside, inside?

Employing a strategic summer time cooling solution, you can improve working conditions and keep product flowing. Our system uses High Velocity Supply fans, which bring filtered fresh-air, from outside, into the building. Directing these fans toward the floor, at strategic angles, to maximize airflow, we provide a consistent and cooling breeze. On the opposite side of the building, we utilize exhaust fans to keep the airflow moving out of the building. No need to temper the air!  Simply pushing the hot air out of the building with cooler air has a DRAMATIC effect on the inside environment.  Running these fans during the evening to cool the entire facility, with cool night air, will keep the production floor cool into the late morning/early afternoon.  These fans run on energy efficient 3 phase motors, keeping your operating costs low.  Employees love it.  Managers love it.
